Time out...

I'm currently attending the National Liaison Committee for International Students in Australia Inc. (NLC) Annual Conference in Perth. Been here since Saturday. Things have been busier than I expected (but then again, I did expect to be busy) so I haven't had much time to go online or have some good sleep. Perth is beautiful from a glance. Not sure how it looks like in detail though.

Had a chance to go to Chinatown for supper in Chinatown on Monday after our fantastic formal dinner. They put me in one of the two tables right in front! Everything was perfect aside from the smoke alarm being set off by the fog machine.

The Conference has been going ok. Those of you who've been following my blog for some time would remember all the crap we had to go through last year. This year has been much better. In fact, we've been able to take revenge on those who screwed us last year. For once, we had the opportunity to flex our numbers. Regardless, we've managed to keep things civil and professional.

The Conference ends on Saturday. Then I'll be heading off to a beach house with some relatives and then coming back to the city. Then it's back to Adelaide on Wednesday. Looking forward to a much needed break.
